| Global Links Initiative has just (May 2006) become a member of The Hubworking Centre - the newly-opened, convenient business and meeting venue, located in the heart of the City of London, less than 2 minutes walk from Liverpool Street Station.
Our membership entitles GLI Networkers to use the facilities of The Hubworking Centre without the normal £100 signing up fee. Just mention that you are a Global Links Initiative Networker if you want to use these services. The Centre provides a flexible working environment away from home - the ideal place to work, to meet people, to have a coffee and to pick up your emails via a free WiFi service. The Centre also provides facilities for those who want a more permanent base in the City of London - for only £45 per month you can also run your entire enterprise from The Hubworking Centre, including use of the members' lounge where you can work and hold meetings, a London mailing address and unlimited internet access. There are conference facilities and opportunities to hold evening events as well. We used the members' lounge (with sandwich and snack vending machines, tea, coffee and other refreshments) and meeting room facilities for our last GLI Board meeting and they were excellent. The environment is professional, modern and business-like as well as being attractively decorated with real art on the walls. The staff were friendly, welcoming and discreet - it was a real pleasure to have such a venue for our meeting and at such a good price! We would definitely recommend this venue to our Networkers, from within the UK or visiting from overseas, and we are already booked in for our next Board meeting. Well done to Andrew and his team!
