| On the evening of 29th April 29 2007, GLI China hosted the fifth networkers' salon at East Nanjing Road Community Center. 12 members including 7 networkers attended the salon. The attendees were from enterprises, NGOs, social enterprises and universities.
The guest speaker - Mr. Huang Qi Jun, the Founder and the General Manager of Mopa Housekeeping Service Company - gave a 40-minuate presentation on the founding and development of Mopa. In four years, Mopa has developed from a charitable initiative to a social enterprise, because Mr. Huang realized that financial donations are far from enough for the future development of the organization. In the marketing process, he implements his business experience alongside modern and corporate methods.
Mopa has a website which is an exchange platform to publish information about employees' and clients' needs. Besides that, Mr. Huang has set up the first online housekeeping service school which offers free study resources to various training agencies. Mopa's innovative project involving a living centre for home service workers inside the community, has been recognized and supported by local government and corporate foundations which will enable Mopa to expand this model national-wide.
